Let's hear it for all the mommas! They put up with so much stress and responsibilities. More importantly, they get things done. But I get it -- sometimes Moms can feel like a nag or frustrate you.
However, one of my favorite mindset techniques is to take something that angers me and flip it around to think about how I can be grateful for it. I encourage you to do the same for Mom. You might be asking how; well, here are 3 reasons why you should be nice to Mom: 1. They care about you. There is nobody else that has your back more than Mom; probably not even Dad. She's taken care of you from before day one. If there is one person we should be forever thankful for once we get older, it's them. So treat them like a queen! Buy your mom gifts (usually comfortable ones) and remind her that her needs come first now. 2. They shield you from stress. Isn't it crazy how innocent childhood is? Like, as a kid our parents never let us know about the bills or jobs or anything stressful. In fact, it's the duty of a parent to not let their kid know of what's going on! At least that's the opinion of this momma. Without Moms, childhood would seem a lot more stressful, in my opinion. "The Good 'Ol Days" would be seen as another chapter in stress city. 3. They do all they can, with no sleep! I can't do anything without eight hours of sleep. Like, wake me up off of seven hours and I might as well be a sack of potatoes on the couch. But in those moments where I do have to Mom up and take care of my kids in the middle of the night, I feel like a determinator. Nothing will stop me from doing what I can to make my kids' life better. So remember that Moms deserve all the sleep they can get! Help them rest with a Wisdom Body & Soul eye pillow!
