I could not be more stressed from Christmas shopping.
What does my sister want? What do my parents want? What do my children want? Instead of trying to sift through questions and gift ideas, ask yourself this question: what do YOU want?
If the answer sounds something like "Relaxation", then this is the blog for you! Here are a few solid tips to de-stress and make The Most Wonderful Time of the Year actually wonderful.
1. Calm down with Essential Oils & Diffusers
Don't you want to chill out a little bit? My favorite thing about essential oils are in how immediate and strong they feel. One whiff of a great scent and man, it feels like the relaxation just takes over your body. Put a few drops in a diffuser to spread the happiness throughout the house.
Looking for a place to start your essential oil journey? I'm happy to be your Kringle of Calm! Wisdom Body & Soul offers scents that embody fruit, fall, the desert or winter. Find them here!
2. Get one hour of extra sleep a day!
I don't have scientific proof of this, but I do have my own experience. Ever since I made it a point to go to bed one hour earlier a day, my mood improved so much. I feel much more ready to take on the day, and avoid those crabby periods that pop up when I'm tired.
Another thing that helped me snooze? Draping an eye pillow over my face and letting it take effect. This eye pillow did such a good job that I felt like making them for everyone!
3. Take a nice warm bath once a week!
Do you ever think of a warm bath and just exhale with happiness? But don't treat it like some far-off fantasy you'd only find in a spa: do it yourself! It helps your skin relax, and always leaves me feeling so refreshed.
My favorite part is when I use bath bombs or wash myself down with one of my bars of soap, it feels like the stress was never there.
Helping you relax, getting back to nature and natural living.
