It's the holiday season, which also means it's the giving season!
You never know who is in need, so why not make the day, month, or year of someone with a donation!
Starting today, 15% of all online sales from Wisdom Body & Soul will be donated to the Tucson Wildlife Center, which helps take care of the wild animals that are so precious in nature.
If you're looking to be a Santa and donate to an organization, here are a few places you could start!
1. Center for Biological Diversity
This is one of my favorite non-profits. The mission of the Center for Biological Diversity is to save all life on the planet, starting with the wonderful animals that live among us.
Headquartered in Tucson, they help protect endangered species and promote the ways that we can be better to nature.
2. Watershed Management Group
We've chopped down far too many trees! It's about time we get our hands dirty and start replanting trees and plants all over. They help reverse the impacts of climate change and create a beautiful environment that gets us back to nature.
Per their website, the Watershed Management Group "develops community-based solutions to ensure the long-term prosperity of people and health of the environment. We provide people with the knowledge, skills, and resources for sustainable livelihoods."
3. Integrative Touch for Kids
I can't talk about giving without mentioning this group! ITK supports families who have children dealing with any medical condition, including autism, cancer, cerebral palsy, emotional trauma, or any other health issues.
With so much stuff in this world to give our kids anxiety or problems, we need to make sure all of them are okay -- but our most vulnerable definitely a little extra help!
Surprise! It's a blog post!
Okay, it's not just any blog post -- it's one about surprises. Right now, we probably have a negative connotation of the word. 2020 has been filled with one surprise after another: lockdowns, sickness, the craziness of the election, etc. It feels like one curve after another.
But what if I told you that surprises can actually be a great thing in life? In fact, they're something to be truly thankful for! I want you to embrace the surprises in life and, with a little help from my products, conquer any uncertainty that comes your way.
Here are the reasons why surprises are GOOD:
1. They Keep You Sharp
Nobody likes a dull day, and too many dull days can make a dull life. So embrace the excitement of surprise -- without it, you'd never have a day worth remembering!
2. Sometimes You Can Look Forward to Them!
If somebody tells you they have a surprise for you, aren't you usually happy about that?
We all love to know that someone planned a celebration or is saving a precious gift for us, so you should embrace a more positive view of surprises!
3. They Help You Grow
Nobody likes being shocked by something, but the truth is that surprises test your mettle and prove you've got what it takes to succeed. As a business owner and mom, everyday I'm surprised (good and bad) by whatever happens in the day.
But you know what? Even if it caused a brief moment of anxiety, once I calmed down, I took on whatever happened and always felt good about accomplishing it. Whether it was starting my own business, dealing with parenthood or working events, the surprises that come from them make me a better person.
Here's my very own gift for you all!
Wrapped in a bow is a really Christmas treat, the kind that makes you feel complete!
You deserve a collection that is calm and soothing, to lift your spirits and keep you moving!
This is my "Surprise Me" collection, designed just for you, to make Christmas and New Year even happier too!
You won't know what comes in the package, but I promise it will bring delight, with soaps and jewelry that will leave you smiling so bright!
Scrub off the stress, and let essential oils diffuse your stress, so you wind up celebrating over not being a mess!
Whether it's one month, three months, or six, you will enjoy this tranquil mix.
You can find all the surprises you want at this link, perhaps to enjoy with an eggnog drink!
Don't look now, but Christmas is sneaking up on us!
Before you know it, the stress and anxiety of trying shaking down Santa for the right gifts will be here faster than you can say eggnog!
I love Christmas, but my least favorite part is always thinking of all the shopping I'll have to do, back-to-back with crowds of aggressive people. I always need to relax with an essential oil diffuser afterward!
But I'm here to offer you a couple Christmas gifts that your loved ones will appreciate. Now more than ever, we need presents that help us stay calm amidst the madness. Don't call me Santa, but I'm happy to give you all the gift of ideas!
A little scrubbing and hot water can wash any stress away! Soaps are my absolute favorite product to work on and sell -- they're visually appealing, fun-to-make, and seep your skin with calm.

Who doesn't love a little jewelry for Christmas? Nothing wrong with wearing a glow that takes you right into next year!
Better yet, enjoy a bracelet or necklace that can be paired with essential oils to create a calming presence that follows you anywhere. You can find my favorite lava stone jewelry locations here!
3. Eye Pillows
Santa won't come unless you're fast asleep! You need to rest in-between all the holiday shopping, packing presents, preparing holiday dinner, seeing the family and (possibly) dealing with all that dang snow! In other words -- find your inner peace through sleep!
My flax seed eye pillows are packed with relaxing aromas that will have you counting sheep in no time. Make the best usage of your rest while you can, right? Find these cute gifts here!
You may have noticed or not how wild I am about owls? I am happy to announce that we will donate 15% of all sales to Tucson Wildlife Center till the end of 2020. This organization is “Has been rescuing sick, injured and orphaned wild animals for 22 years. We specialize in the treatment and release of animals such as javelina, birds of prey, and coyotes.”
Here is a link to their site
Thank you Tucson Wildlife Center I hope we can help in some way!
Helping you relax, getting back to nature and natural living.
